FIPâ„¢ Eliminate Relapse Program

Relapse occurs in about 3% of cats who have been on the Exterminate FIPâ„¢ treatment program. For cat owners who may be concerned about future recurrence, we have formulated a transparent Relapse Policy to tell you what to do step by step.

1. For cats who have completed 84 days of treatment using the Basmi FIPâ„¢ injection or oral capsule.
For cats who complete a full 84 days of treatment using our product exclusively, we offer a 50% discount on up to 84 days of relapse treatment. This discount is specifically for relapses that occur within 12 months of completing full treatment. To claim a discount treatment of recurrence, please provide:
Your cat's treatment start date and end date.
Final blood test results upon completion of our FIP treatment program.
This information helped us to develop a relapse treatment program that ranged from 2 weeks in mild cases to 12 weeks in severe cases.
2. For cats who do not complete 84 days of treatment, but are on the exclusive Basmi FIPâ„¢ treatment.
Many cats fully recover from FIP infection before 84 days. In this case, we respect you and your veterinarian's decision to end the treatment program early. We offer a 50% discount on relapse treatment for up to 84 days. This discount is specifically for cats who experience a relapse within 6 months after completion of the treatment program and only use Basmi FIPâ„¢ products exclusively.
To qualify for this program, please provide:
Blood test report showing full health condition after completion of treatment.
No invasive surgery such as sterilization or castration and vaccination within 84 days of completion of our FIP treatment program.

3. For cats who did not complete treatment before 84 days and did not complete a complete blood test.
Contact our treatment experts via WA or email to discuss treatment options which can be started from continuing the previous treatment or restarting treatment from the beginning with a dose that is adjusted to your cat's condition. Treatment of relapse may last anywhere from 2 weeks to 12 weeks depending on the severity of symptoms.
We do not provide a discount for cats who leave our treatment program without first completing a full blood test to assess whether some parameters have returned to the normal range.

4. For cats combining the Basmi FIPâ„¢ treatment with another brand of medication.
We do not recommend merging with other brands. Each brand has its own concentration and protocol for treating FIP. We cannot predict treatment outcome when mixing different brands of products during the treatment process. If your cat is taking medication from different brands during her treatment, and has a relapse, contact us to discuss how to get FIP under control as quickly as possible using an adjusted dose. Treatment of relapses can last anywhere from 2 weeks to 12 weeks depending on the severity of symptoms. We do not offer discounts for this category.
